Yes, you can. From October 26, new users need an early access code to set up Bread. You’ll be asked for your code during onboarding.
The early access list is for people who want to try Bread with real funds on Miden partner mainnet. Joining gives you a chance to receive an early access code.
Join the early access list on this page. We start emailing codes to selected users from October 26, with access opening in waves. You don’t need to be a company or a developer to take part. Already signed up? You’re on the list.
No. Places during partner mainnet are limited, and joining the list doesn’t guarantee a code or a place in the first batch. If your code hasn’t arrived yet, stay on the list for the upcoming waves. Maybe try tagging @joinbread on X, you might get lucky... ♨(⋆‿⋆)♨
If you already have a compatible testnet wallet, you can keep using it for a couple weeks on testnet. New users need an early access code during onboarding and start on partner mainnet.
You’ll use the same app, so there’s no need to reinstall Bread. Moving to partner mainnet requires an in-app reset and a fresh wallet setup, with an early access code. Your testnet wallet and test tokens won’t carry over.
You can send payments, transfer funds to and from supported chains, swap on Miden, and earn yield through Aave on Ethereum. We’ve also built arcade mini-games inside Bread, where you can post high scores onchain, challenge other players, and win “Gamecoins” along the way.
You can bring tokens from Ethereum into Miden, plus selected assets from other supported chains. See supported networks and tokens on our Support page. Missing a token or chain you’d like to use? Let us know what you’d like us to add. An on-ramp option will also be available in the coming weeks.
Yes. Bread is unavailable in certain countries and regions, for instance Iran or North Korea. Earn is additionally unavailable in the U.K. and the State of New York. See the Legal and Compliance Disclosures for the full restrictions.
During partner mainnet, Bread and the bridge page limit deposits so your total balance in Bread stays below $1,232.462.
Network fees are paid in USDCx. Your partner mainnet wallet is pre-funded with USDCx, which should cover at least 50 transactions. You’ll still need to add the money you want to send, swap, or earn yield from.
Partner mainnet is temporary. You’ll need to withdraw your funds before it ends. We’ll share the withdrawal instructions and deadline with all participating users. Keep that in mind before depositing.
Yes. Your keys stay on your device, and you control your assets.
Use your recovery phrase to restore Bread on a new device. Guardian helps bring your private account up to date, while you keep control of your assets.
Yes. Bread is in beta. You may encounter bugs or other issues while using it. If anything doesn’t work as expected, please share your feedback with us. It will help us improve Bread.
Yes. Bread is the new Miden wallet experience. The previous Miden Wallet has been retired.
