Privacy

Effective date: July 1, 2025

This Privacy Policy explains how Miden ("we," "us," or "our") collects and uses information when you visit miden.xyz (the "Site") or sign up to receive emails from us. We keep this simple: the only personal data we collect is your email address, and only when you choose to give it to us.

1. Information we collect

When you sign up for our mailing list, we collect the email address you provide. We do not collect your name, payment information, or any other personal details unless you voluntarily send them to us (for example, by emailing us directly).

2. How we use your email

We use your email address to send you marketing communications — product updates, announcements, and news about Miden. We send these only because you opted in to receive them. We do not sell, rent, or trade your email address to anyone.

3. Analytics

We use Simple Analytics (simpleanalytics.com) to understand how visitors use our Site. Simple Analytics is a privacy-focused, cookieless analytics service. It does not use cookies, does not track you across other websites, and does not collect personal data that can identify you. It gathers only aggregate, anonymous information such as page views, referring websites, and general device or country information. Because of this, we do not display a cookie consent banner. You can read more about how Simple Analytics handles data at simpleanalytics.com/privacy.

4. Cookies

We do not use tracking or advertising cookies on our Site.

5. Third parties

To operate our mailing list, we share your email address with Beehiiv, our email service provider, which stores it and helps us deliver our emails. They process this data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. We may also disclose information if required to do so by law.

6. Data retention

We keep your email address for as long as you remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your data, we will remove your email address from our mailing list.

7. Your rights

You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of any email we send. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. To exercise any of these rights, email us at marketing@miden.team and we'll respond as required by applicable law (including the GDPR for visitors in the EU/UK and the CCPA for residents of California).

8. Data security

We take reasonable measures to protect your email address from unauthorized access. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children's privacy

Our Site is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Effective date" above.
